DeFrancesco and Son's Small Engine Repair
Important Information
Legal Stuff:
We love our customers and don't like to have to include this legal stuff, but unfortunately it has to be said.
We would like to remind you that all equipment serviced by DeFrancesco Engines must be claimed within 7 days of notice that service is complete, unless other arrangements have been made. Failure to do so may result in storage fees. Furthermore, any equipment unclaimed within 60 days from notice of service completion will be considered abandoned and, although you are still liable for any repairs that were performed on your equipment, it will become the property of DeFrancesco Engines. They will have the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such equipment in any way they may choose. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please note: A tune-up is seasonal preventative maintenance and does not guarantee that your equipment will run properly. Any repair and addition parts needed to ensure proper operation of your equipment will be an additional fee and discussed before the additional service is performed.
DeFrancesco Engines would also like to remind you that any damage caused by improper use or maintenance of your equipment is not our responsibility. This includes damage caused by forcing your snowblower through wet slush or running your lawnmower through wet or tall grass. We also cannot be held responsible for damage caused by running over items with your equipment or using old or contaminated fuel. It is also the owners responsibility to check the oil of your equipment before each use to prevent any potential damage.
Payments for service are due on completion of service. Any balance that is not received within 5 days of service completion will incur a $5 late fee per day.
Even if the gas has been stabilized, we recommend completely draining your snow blower's fuel system before storing it away for the season. Gas oxidizes and breaks down over time, creating sludge that can build up inside your snow blower's fuel tank, carburetor and fuel lines.
